Srinagar, Jul 06: Opposition National Conference today claimed that the coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir has failed to deliver as it remained engaged in settling the "bickerings" among the partners of the government, resulting in economic distress and lawlessness in the state. "The present government is engaged in removing the differences within the coalition partners and as such it has failed to deliver and attend to the problems of the people," National Conference President Omar Abdullah said in a statement here. He said his party views with concern the deteriorating law and order situation as fear psychosis has gripped the state, abdullah said. "Innocent killings have increased and even robberies are taking place in broad daylight in the state," he said. Abdullah also accused the PDP-led coalition government of being involved in an uncalled for campaign to malign NC and resorting to political vendatta against the workers and supporters of the party.

He said problems of the people including economic hardship have compounded and unemployment has increased since the coalition government assumed office.
