Apple`s March 21 Event today: iPhone SE, iPad Air 3, new iPad Pro to be launched
The event to be held in San Francisco today will showcase new iPhone SE, updated iPad pro, Apple Watch bands and updates to the Apple Pay.

New Delhi: Technology enthusiasts around the world are eagerly waiting for Apple's Monday (March 21 event), where the tech giant would showcase new iPhone SE, updated iPad Pro and iPad Air 3.
The event to be held in San Francisco will also showcase new Apple Watch bands and updates to the Apple Pay. This event comes almost six months earlier than the Apple event that is usually held in September every year.
Perhaps, it is to quench the thirst of the Apple fans that have been waiting for a new iPhone in the market.
The event was announced with an invite to the press that included a cryptic message: 'Let us loop you in', the independent reported.
The Apple iPhone SE, interestingly, has been the news for sometime with the company stating it would launch a new iPhone early. And with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with be the heroes of the September event, the iPhone SE should indeed come as a pleasant surprise for fans.
And as for the features, reports and leaks of the smartphone suggest, the iPhone SE will feature a 4-inch screen and be powered by 64-bit A9 processor. It will also feature a 12-megapixel camera with support for Live Photos, NFC and Apple Pay support among others.
It will come with up to 64GB of storage and more and have a 1,642 mAh battery.
iPhone SE will, however, not have the 3D Touch feature, says report.
According to Kuo, Apple is expected to sell 12-million iPhone SE units this year.
The new iPad pro would have 9.7-inch model with four speakers, stylus support, additional RAM and a faster processor, and would be available in a 128GB storage capacity, the Verge quoted 9to5Mac.
The new Apple Watch band is expected to come in new colour variants and potentially made out of new materials or in partnership with additional high-fashion brands.
Apple is also expected to introduce a new 9.7-inch iPad Air 3, with features of the iPad Pro. According to 9to5Mac, the iPad with 9.7-inch display will have support for Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard like the iPad Pro.
The new devices are expected to go for sale, a week after they are unveiled.
