New Delhi: This is indeed a piece of good news for all iPhone fans as Apple Inc's latest handsets, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are all set to hit stores on Friday (October 16) across the country.


After three weeks of its official launch in the United States, the new iPhones will hit the Indian smartphone market in the intervening night of October 15-16, much to the delight of the fans.


However, costumers will have to shelf out a heavy sum for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as they have been priced starting from Rs 62,000 for the lower variant up to Rs 92,000 for the highest variant.


Nevertheless, it is interesting to note that India's leading telecom service providers Airtel and Vodafone are offering a series of freebies up to Rs 15,000 in order to woo customers.

The iPhones will be available in three variants of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.
