New Delhi: After much speculations and mysteries surrounding what the 'SE' stands for in Apple's new 4-inch iPhone SE, it has been revealed as to what it actually means.
The 'SE' in the iPhone SE stands for 'Special Edition'.

The Verge reported that Phil Schiller, senior vice president of marketing of Apple, confirmed it to a journalist named Jason Capriani Monday night.
Earlier, during the launch event, with Apple talking much about solar and renewable energy and reuse of material, it was speculated that SE stood for 'Solar Energy'.
However, it's now been revealed that the 'SE' in the faster 4-inch iPhone ever stands for 'Special Edition' and nothing more.
