New Delhi: Home-grown retail major Future Group today said it is open for selling ayurvedic FMCG products of Sri Sri Ayurveda promoted by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of Art of Living, as it has done with the range of products of Baba Ramdev-led Patanjali Ayurveda.

"If the customers want it then why not? We are open to the thought," Kishore Biyani, Founder and Chief Executive of Future Group told PTI when asked about the possibility of selling Sri Sri Ayurveda products on Future Group's stores.


When asked how soon can it happen, Biyani, who was here to speak at the World Culture Festival said: "We have not discussed it with them."


Art of Living sells ayurvedic products in categories such as food and nutrition, personal category, health category under the brand name of Sri Sri Ayurveda.


It also sells spices, soap, fragnances, candle lights and apparels through its online portal www.Sattvastore.Com


On October last year, Future Group had entered into a marketing partnership with Patanjali Ayurveda to sell its products.


The group was expecting to do business worth Rs 1,000 crore in the next 20 months with Patanjali's product.


Besides, that Biyani had said that both Future Group and Patanjali were also considering to have production partnership and jointly develop brands in the long-term.


Future group is betting big on food and consumer business and also aiming to clock a revenue of Rs 20,000-crore in this segment by the year 2021.
