New Delhi: Tata Motors today reported a 11 percent rise in global sales at 1,18,750 units in March, including that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles.

The company had sold 1,06,595 units in March 2015, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing.


In the passenger vehicles category, global sales stood at 73,515 units last month as against 68,109 units in March 2015, up 8 percent.


Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover rose 22 percent to 64,579 units last month as compared to 52,736 units in March 2015.


The company's sales of commercial vehicles in March was up by 18 per cent to 45,235 units from 38,486 units a year ago.
