New Delhi: Xiaomi, the world's fourth largest phone maker may release Xiaomi Mi Note 2, the second generation model of Mi Note, on November 5.


According to industry sources, the new model will feature high-end specs, which includes a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.


It is unclear whether the phone will have a MicroSD card slot. Among the features that the second generation model is likely to show-off are Qualcom's Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 16 MP camera, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS on board and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 chipset on board


Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is likely to have an upgraded body of metal, unlike the 3D glass design of its predecessor.
