New Delhi: The first semi-high speed train of the country Gatiman Express has created much buzz across the media is yet to find passengers.

The Hindu reported that the train which will be launched Tuesday will be virtually running empty during the entire week as it is yet to become popular with tourists.

As per the report, while less bookings on a Tuesday can be understandable, the train looks even more forlorn during the otherwise busy weekend. For April 9, a Saturday, only 86 of the chair car seats and 14 executive chair car seats have been booked.

As per Indian Railways, the pickup in occupancy in the train may take some time as booking for the train began only on April 2, and it could be a major reason why people could not plan agead in booking for the train..

Railways, believes that the train would soon become a rage thanks not only to its speed but also improved services, the multi-cuisine menu, and train hostesses.
