Hyderabad: Telangana government would take technical and financial help of organisations from China for building irrigation projects in the state, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Saturday.

The state government would send a team of engineers to China to study the construction of irrigation projects there, an official release said.


Rao held talks with the officials of a prominent construction company, Gezhoba, from China for the second day on Saturday, it said.


The firm has been invited to take part in the tender process for the construction of Kaleswaram and other irrigation projects and has shown a willingness to invest Rs 10,000 crore, the release stated.


The Chief Minister has decided to reach an understanding in this regard after the team of engineers conducts the study in China, the release added.
