Ranchi, June 20: Jharkhand government would give appointment orders to primary teachers on 'hul divas' or 'kranti divas', state human resource minister Pasupati Nath Singh said today. Candidates who had cleared the primary teachers' recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission on May 27 would be given appointment letters on June 30, Singh told a press conference here.

The JPSC had conducted the tests for 9,223 posts for primary teachers in a surcharged atmosphere with pro-domicile groups having enforced a two-day state-wide bandh to disrupt the examinations. A ten-year-old boy and a woman had died during clashes between bandh supporters and police on May 27.
