New Delhi, July 08: State-owned Manganese Ore India Ltd recorded an increase of 21 per cent in net profit at Rs 235.93 lakh during the first quarter of current fiscal over Rs 194.78 lakh quarterly target. MOIL earned a Rs 367.92 lakh profit before tax against a target of Rs 303.75 lakh, an official release said.
Its sales during the quarter stood at Rs 33.58 crore, which was nearly six per cent more than target.
Moil produced 1,67,673 tonnes manganese ore, 99 per cent of the target.
It produced 231 tonnes of electrolytic manganese dioxide and 2090 tonnes of ferro crossing targets of 210 tonne and 1705 tonne respectively. Bureau Report
