Amazon to launch monthly subscriptions for Prime Video for $9
Prime Video alone would cost USD 107.88 a year and USD 9 on a monthly basis, while the full Prime service would shoot upto USD 131.88 a year, the Verge reports.
New Delhi: American electronic commerce and cloud computing company Amazon has dropped the requirement to sign up for a year to access its Prime membership services.
The E-commerce giant would be adding the new subscription options by Monday evening.

Since Amazon launched its subscription video service five years ago, it has been available only through the Prime membership program, which currently costs USD 99 per year.
Prime includes unlimited free shipping on millions of products, while Prime Video includes tens of thousands of TV episodes and movies, including original series and films, unlimited access to more than a million songs with Prime Music, unlimited secure photo storage and other benefits.
