New Delhi: Apple launched the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, a smaller version of its iPad Pro tablet released previous year.


 


The latest version is smaller than the 12.9-inch model it introduced last fall. It's the successor to the iPad Air 2.  It's powered by the A9X processor and has a similar four-speaker system. It's twice as loud as the Air 2. For pictures, the new iPad Pro has a 12-megapixel rear camera,complete with focus pixels, dual-tone flash, and Live Photos.


 


During the launch Phil Schiller talked about the latest iPad Pro as “the ultimate PC replacement.” Apple has sold over 200 million iPads in the 9.7 inch size. The new iPad Pro 32GB will start at $599 and begin shipping March 31.
