New Delhi: After sending a certain message, you may have regretted sending it and had wished if you could withdraw it or delete it from the recipient's Inbox.

Well! Your wish may come out to be true soon.

Facebook Messenger is working on the the process that you will be able to retract a sent message even if it’s delivered.

The company has filed a new patent which suggests that after sending a message, if you shake the phone after pressing send on Messenger, or tap on the sending animation, you will be given an option to prevent the recipient from viewing the message.

The message  may be halted from getting delivered, and if the message has been delivered, Facebook may even delete it from the recipient’s inbox.

The filing adds that the message will be retractable depending on factors like the frequency of talking to the contact, and only the most recent message will be deleted.
