It has become the fastest Nexa SUV to hit this milestone, followed by the Grand Vitara. In its debut year, the Fronx registered 1,34,735 units sold by the end of the 2024 fiscal year.

Currently, the Fronx is available in five trims—Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha—priced between Rs 7.51 lakh and Rs 13.04 lakh (ex-showroom).

It offers two engine options: a 1.0L Boosterjet turbocharged engine (100bhp, 147Nm) paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, and a 1.2L NA petrol engine (90bhp) with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.

According to media reports, Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce a strong hybrid version of the Fronx by 2025, using the brand’s in-house HEV powertrain.

The updated Fronx is likely to feature the Swift’s Z12E engine, minor design tweaks, and additional features.
