New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited( BSNL) has announced a too-good-to-be-true offer on data side.

The company will off 20 GB 3G data for only Rs 50. What's more! This 20 GB can be shared among 5 users anywhere in India, the other 4 using the data for free!

The incumbent telecom operators currently offer 1 GB of 3G data between Rs 160-250.

This service is reported to be subsidised by the 'Digital India' scheme, aiming at pushing the reach of internet to segments who cannot afford steep internet rates.

BSNL's data pack and the impending Reliance Jio's 4G launch is going to churn the market forcing the other players too to slash data rates.
