New Delhi: Smartphone maker Samsung is in trouble again as the tech giant Apple is demanding an additional 180 million dollars in the companies' long-running patent dispute.

The two largest smartphone companies Apple and Samsung have filed over 40 patent lawsuits against each other, over the last few years.


According to The Verge, Samsung has agreed to pay Apple USD 548 million in accordance with the original verdict.


In a verdict by a US court in May 2014, Samsung was found guilty of copying key iPhone features while Apple was also found guilty of infringing one of Samsung's patents in creating the iPhone 4 and 5.
