New Delhi: The Claridges hotel is up for sale, as per a financial daily.


According to a report in the Economic Times, the price for the sale of the 5 star luxury and business hotel, located in APJ Abdul Kalam Road, could go as high as Rs 1,500 crore.


Arms dealer Suresh Nanda, who owns the Claridges, was approached by two potential buyers “directly and through intermediaries”, the ET said.


The paper, quoting highly placed sources said that the prospective buyers were a Mumbai-based prominent family and a leading Southeast Asian luxury hotel.
