New Delhi: Seeking to strengthen compliance and verification, the Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC) issued  notice to top bollywood movie-makers and actors asking them to divulge the details of their income, a financial daily reported on Wednesday.


The notices have been issued to “top production houses” and bollywood's superstars, the ET said.

Two production houses that has recieved notice from the service tax division of the CBEC are Yash Raj Films and Salman Khan Films.


While the two high profile bollywood actors –Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh have been asked to “disclose payment details” received from the likes of Yash Raj Films and Salman Khan Films, the ET said.


“All the blockbusters of the last 3-4 years are covered — these include Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3, PK, Bajirao Mastani, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan,” ET reported further.
