New Delhi:  Ousted Tata Group Chairman Cyrus Mistry on Tuesday said that insinuations against him of mis-handling the DoCoMo issues are baseless.

“Insinuations that Docomo issue was handled in a manner inconsistent with Tata culture and values are baseless,” Mistry said.

Mistry said that all decisions on Docomo deal were taken with approval of Tata Sons board, adding that the actions werwe consistent with every collective decision.

“To suggest I acted on my own or without knowledge and/or concurrence of Ratan Tata on Docomo deal are false and mischievous,” Mistry added.

In a dispute between NTT DoCoMo and Tata Sons over the enforcement of a US $1.17 billion award by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Japanese firm had moved a US court early this month.
