New Delhi: UK Journalist Piers Morgan has become the butt of all jokes ever since he mocked India's performance at Rio Olympics 2016 on social micro-blogging site Twitter.

Piers, who tweeted how India were celebrating winning just two medals at Rio, was severely criticised for his tweet by several Indian celebrities, including Virender Sehwag.


After the Viru-Piers banter had settled down, Aussie speedster Brett Lee reminded him of that brutal over he bowled to him in nets in 2013, which reportedly broke his ribs.

To make matters worse, discarded England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who is one of Piers' closest buddies, too didn't spare him.


Piers was leading a team of cricketers, comprising American journalists. The team also boasted of two big names in of KP and Tino Best.
