Could MS Dhoni have played his character instead of Sushant Singh Rajput in upcoming biopic? Here`s what Mahi said!

New Delhi: The entire world is waiting with bated breath for the release of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's upcoming biopic 'MS Dhoni: The untold story'
It is for the first time that a biopic will be released based on a cricketer who has yet not retired from international cricket.
India's limited-overs skipper has been busy lately promoting his biopic in several parts of the world.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is playing Dhoni's character in the much-awaited film.
When asked if he could have played the character himself, Dhoni smiled and said that acting is "very difficult job which should be left to the actors, who know what to do".
At the same time, Dhoni praised Sushant's performance in the film and called him a "fantastic actor", who has worked very hard for the film and is now one of the better cricketers in all the celebrities cricket leagues that are happening.
He said Rajput wanted to know Dhoni's thinking and frame of mind when he plays cricket.
"It was difficult because there are a lot of things can't tell him because I'm still playing active cricket and captaining the (limited overs) team," he said.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 30.
According to a report published in Daily.bhaskar.com, India's limited-overs skipper had demanded a sum of Rs. 60 crore for the filmmaker to make a movie on his life.
Reportedly, he was given Rs. 20 crore right after giving his nod to the filmmaker to go ahead with the movie.
