In life after cricket, Viru has continued to entertain his loyal fans - first from the commentary box and now on Twitter.

Each day, the swashbuckling batsman trends on search engines for his antics on the social micro-blogging site.

Recently however, Viru found himself on the backfoot when an attacking Chris Gayle gave him a dose of his own medicine.

The incident occurred during launch of Jamaican's autobiography titled 'Six Machine'.

Six king Sehwag and BCCI president Anurag Thakur graced the event.

"Chris has scored a three hundred, but doesn’t have a five wicket haul like me," said Viru, taking a dig at the big-hitting left-hander.

Unfortunately for the Sehwag, the Universe Boss had his bowling stats at the tip of this tongue.

"I have two 5-wicket hauls, Mr. Viru!," shot back Gayle.

While this was nothing more than two friends pulling each other's leg, it was rather unique to see somebody getting the better of Viru.
