New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a key role in India's emphatic 197-run win against New Zealand in the first Test played at Green Park in Kanpur.

Jadeja, who has been in red hot form with the ball on sub-continental tracks in the last one and a half year, not only picked six wickets in the first Test, but also contributed with vital 92 runs (42, 50).

When asked about Kiwi batsmen's struggle on turning track at Kanpur, Jadeja goofed up with a sentence which left the reporters present in the room in splits.



Harbhajan Singh is not the one to let go of such rare funny incidents.


The Turbanator took to Twitter and asked Jadeja to complete the sentence.

It was India's 500th Test, and with the comprehensive win, Virat Kohli and his men are now leading the three-match series 1-0.


The second Test is scheduled to be played from September 30 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
