Going down the memory lane, the International Cricket Council (ICC) took to Twitter – on 31st December 2018 – to share their top 10 shared ICC Tweets of the year.


In the 10th, 9th and 8th places are the Tweets related to Pakistan winning the ICC 2017 Champions Trophy as they beat a formidable Indian side by a 180-run margin. Till date, the particular tweet of Pakistan lifting the coveted trophy has 3529 Retweets (RTs).





In seventh place is our very own Rohit Sharma, who recently smashed the joint-fastest T20I hundred against Sri Lanka. In his 35-ball hundred, Rohit hammered 11 fours and eight sixes.



At sixth postion is the Tweet of Virat Kohli-led India exchanging pleasantries with Pakistan in the ICC CT 2017 finals. In sixth position is the Tweet of the Pakistan cricket team lifting the ICC CT trophy, which garnered 4,823 RTs.




Positioned at number four is ICC's throw-back Tweet of Yuvraj Singh making histoy after smashing Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over in the 2007 T20I Cricket World Cup, and thereby creating a T20I history.



In third place is Pakistan's celebration of winning the ICC 2017 Champions Trophy in their dressing room.



In no.2, with almost 8000 RTs, is the recognition of Pakistan cricket's addition of 2017 Champions Trophy to their trophy cabinet.



Topping the standings is the video of Indian captain Virat Kohli and Pakistan's Shoaib Malik sharing a light moment with each other during the presentation ceremony of the Champions Trophy final.
