Going into auction, RCB camp was determined to sign one quality overseas pacer. Daniel Vettori and his men, who didn't look much interested in other players, were in a different mode after Tymal Mills, England's T20 specialist was up for grabs.


Much to the suprise of many, the Banglaore franchise broke their bank for Mills, and signed him for a massive Rs 12.5 crore.


Mills, who was a part of England's T20I squad in the recently concluded limited-overs series against India, was one of the English bowlers, who trouble Men in Blue a lot.


Top Indian batsmen, including skipper Virat Kohli, found it difficult to tackle Mills' variation.


Earlier, Ben Stokes was bought for a whooping Rs 14.5 crore by Rising Pune Supergiants.
