In the opening match of the IPL 2023, the Chennai Super Kings suffered a defeat against the Gujarat Titans. Despite a solid start, CSK could only manage to post a total of 171/8 on the board, with Ruturaj Gaikwad being the standout performer with a brilliant knock of 92 runs.
