Fast-bowler Jaydev Unandkat has the highest base price amongst all the Indian cricketers, with a price of Rs 1.5 crore.

However, the highest reserve price for the upcoming auction is set at Rs 2 crore with nine overseas cricketers listed in this category.

Brendon McCullum, Lasith Malinga, Colin Ingram, Shaun Marsh, Sam Curran, D'Arcy Short, Angelo Matthews, Corey Anderson and Chris Woakes are those cricketers who have been listed at the highest base price.

The other Indians who are listed amongst the comparatively higher price categories are Mohammed Shami, Axar Patel, Wriddhiman Saha and Yuvraj Singh, who have a base price of Rs 1 crore.

The auction will be held in Jaipur on December 18 rather than Bengaluru which has hosted the auction over the years. It is set to be a one-day affair.

There are also concrete reports that the upcoming edition of the IPL may be held outside the nation, partially or even completely in case of a clash with the general elections.
