Pollard, who has been an integral part of the Rohit Sharma-led side, was dismissed for 17 when Mumbai needed 64 runs to win off the last 24 balls.

Soon after English all-rounder Chris Woakes got rid of the West Indian, Manjrekar said while commentating, "Pollard does not have the brains to play early in the innings."

The 29-year-old didn't end there and slammed Manjrekar futher.

Pollard also got support in his compatriot Tino Best who also slammed Manjrekar for his insensitive comment.

It remains to be seen what would be Manjrekar's reply.
