New Delhi: Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Friday rolled back the years with a flying, one-handed catch in the Delhi Daredevils-Rising Pune Supergiant IPL match.

It happened off the last ball of the 14th over, bowled by Daniel Christian to Marlon Samuels. The West Indian got a thick top-edge, but Dhoni timed his jump to perfection and stretched his right hand to complete the catch.

Dhoni, 35, is still considered one of the best wicketkeepers in the business. And he proved it with that stunning effort behind the wickets at Delhi.


It was his 101st dismissal in the IPL. Earlier in the match, he completed his 100th dismissal with the wicket of Shreyas Iyer.

After losing the toss, Pune restricted Delhi to a below-par total of 168/8.
