At the end of the day's play, England were still leading the Caribbean side by 219 runs, with Ben Stokes (16) and skipper Joe Root (8) remaining unbeaten at the crease.
Earlier in the day, Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes bagged three wickets each, while Sam Curran (2 for 70), Dom Bess (1 for 67) and Ben Stokes (1 for 29) also chipped in to help England bundle out West Indies for 287 runs in their first innings.
Opener Kraigg Brathwaite (75), Shamarh Brooks (68) and Roston Chase (51) were notable contributors for the Caribbean side.
The third day of the ongoing Test between the two sides was called off without a ball being bowled due to incessent rain on Saturday.
