The WPL Auction has moved to the uncapped players category. Wicketkeeper G Kamalini was the first name announced. Mumbai Indians started the bidding at ₹10 lakh, with Delhi Capitals joining the race. The bidding intensified as Mumbai raised the stakes to ₹1 crore, followed by Delhi Capitals at ₹1.50 crore. However, Mumbai Indians sealed the deal at ₹1.60 crore.
