Starc's message, however, instead of getting delivered in right Virat Kohli Twitter account (@imVkohli), landed up in a parody account (@imVkohIIi).

The owner of the parody account didn't hesitate in sharing the Aussie pacer's message to public.

"Hey friend :) Hopefully I don't have to look for a new ipl team?? Haha media hey!

Didn't get a chance to have a proper catch up mate but Congrats on the series win and on your summer personally... I hope that shoulder is on the mend and not too bad. Good luck for the ipl, here's hoping to an RCB win. Cheers mate," Starc's message read.

While Kohli had restructured his friendship status with Aussie players, Starc is one of those who has spent quite some time playing the Indian superstar, playing for IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The 28-year-old Kohli, is set to miss out early action of the Indian Premier League Season 10 following the shoulder injury he suffered during Ranchi Test against Australia. In his absence, South African star AB de Villiers is set to lead the side, as RCB kick-off their campaign on the first day (April 5) itself.
