Bopara, who has regularly featured for Karachi Kings this year in the month-long Twenty20 competition, said that he will travel to Lahore if his team wins their match today.

As Karachi Kings lock horns with Peshawar Zalmi at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium tonight in a final eliminator today, Bopara tweeted, "If we win tonight I will travel to Lahore for the final. @KarachiKingsARY @thePSLt20 #DhanDhanaDhanHogaRe."

It’s a do-or-die for both the teams as they battle it out for a berth in the final. The winner of today's match will meet Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 5.

While Zalmi faced an agonizing one-run loss at the hands of Quetta Gladiators in the first playoff on Tuesday, Kings are high on confidence after registering a comprehensive 44-run win against Islamabad United in Wednesday’s eliminator, which knocked out last year’s champions from the competition.

All the PSL matches were played in Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates until the final, which will be played in Lahore.

The final will be held under tight security after deadly blasts which rocked Lahore recently.

In a meeting held between the PSL management and the five franchise owners in Dubai, it was decided the summit clash of the tournament would be held in Lahore as per schedule.

It should be noted that Pakistan have not hosted any international cricket tournaments since the terror attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore in 2009, when six Pakistani Policemen were killed and some of the visiting players were injured.
