As Ashwin kept on breaking records after records during the New Zealand Test series, Harbhajan was busy comparing the pitches that he used to bowl on with the present ones which as per him were 'tailer-made' for spin bowling.

Ashwin also attempted to calm down the situation with his tweet stating, "Harbhajan Singh has been an inspiration nd I started bowling off spin only after seeing the 2001 series. This banter going on is unhealthy"

A fan, however, promptly asked the Tamil Nadu-born cricketer, "if that is so, why did you like a hate tweet against Bhajji?"

Ashwin knew siting quiet at the allegation wasn't correction considering the allegations and he replied to the fan saying, " must have been a mistake while browsing through."

In another attempt to settle this unwanted saga, Ashwin wrote, "By pitting players against each other we aren't going to gain anything but just a juicy headline.Lets respect ppl and keep the game healthy"

Harbhajan Singh also reacted to Ashwin's attempt to make peace.

Bhajji wrote, "Dear got nothing against you. For some reasons my words are misconstrued. Wish you nothing but the best. Keep the flag high! God bless."

It seems that the cold war will finally be over and Bhajji too will refrain from taking a dig at the Indian pitches in future.
