Get ready to be spellbound by the bewitching beauty of Madhubala at Delhi`s Madame Tussauds
Yesteryear`s actress Madhubala is till date remembered for her bewitching beauty and pivotal role in various classical films such as Mughal-E-Azam, Half Ticket, Howrah Bridge, Kala Paani etc. Perhaps, it is owing to her immense talent and beauty that the popular entertainment museum- Madame Tussauds has decided to place a wax statue of hers in the Bollywood Zone of its new outlet in Delhi.
New Delhi: Yesteryear's actress Madhubala is till date remembered for her bewitching beauty and pivotal role in various classical films such as Mughal-E-Azam, Half Ticket, Howrah Bridge, Kala Paani etc. Perhaps, it is owing to her immense talent and beauty that the popular entertainment museum- Madame Tussauds has decided to place a wax statue of hers in the Bollywood Zone of its new outlet in Delhi.
Madhubala's statue would be the first one from the classical Indian cinema to be displayed and will be based on her most admired character- Anarkali from the movie, 'Mughal- E- Azam'.
According to News18.com, Mr. Anshul Jain, General Manager and Director Merlin Entertainments India Pvt Ltd, said, “We are glad to have the figure of Madhubala at Madame Tussauds Delhi , she still continues to rule the hearts of billions of fans in the nation.. We are sure that her magnetic beauty will attract her fans to click a selfie and relive a special moment with her and be transported back to the golden era of cinema.”
Many parts of the world have a Madame Tussauds site and Delhi, India is the latest city to get access to this marvellous creation. The museum consists of a number of waxed statues of famous people from the world of sports, politics, history and glamour.
