NEW DELHI: The national capital on Monday witnessed a foggy morning, leading to the cancellation of at least 10 trains and rescheduling of two others.

As many as 17 trains were running late due to the heavy fog, the ANI reported.


On Sunday, cancellation of 19 trains and rescheduling of seven others were reported from the city.


Delhi has witnessed cold and foggy weather conditions over the past three days.


On Saturday, the minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. At least eight trains were cancelled and 15 delayed due to the fog.


According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the visibility stood at 2,500 metres and humidity was 73 percent at 8.30 am on Saturday.


Friday's minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius.


Cold and foggy weather conditions are likely to remain in Delhi till Monday, the IMD said on its website.
