ACB records Mishra`s statement in tanker scam as AAP leader intensifies tirade against Kejriwal
ACB officials have cross-examined his statements for veracity and also recorded them, the Times of India reported.
New Delhi: The Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi Police on Thursday recorded the statement of sacked water minister Kapil Mishra over his graft allegations against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
ACB officials have cross-examined his statements for veracity and also recorded them, the Times of India reported.
This was his second visit to ACB office. A few days ago, he had shared some evidence related to the tanker scam with the ACB officials.
The scam dates back to the reign of Sheila Dikshit as Delhi chief minister.
Mishra alleged that Kejriwal tried to shield her by intentionally delaying the probe into the scam.
In 2015, the Kejriwal-led government had constituted a fact-finding team to probe the alleged irregularities in procuring nearly 400 water tankers by DJB.
In June 2016, an FIR was registered in the case in consultation with the then Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.
