New Delhi: Incessant rains inundated parts of Delhi and caused traffic jams on Thursday.

Overcast sky and light rains had greeted Delhiites this morning.


The Safdarjung observatory of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded 3.8 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours, said a Met department official.


Palam received 14.8 mm of rainfall during the same period.


The Met office has forecast light to moderate rains along with thundershowers during the day.
