New Delhi: Delhi recorded the hottest morning of the season today with the minimum temperature settling at 23.9 degrees Celsius.

The Safdarjung observatory, whose recording is considered as official for the city, registered a minimum temperature of 23.9 degrees Celsius, five notches above the normal, making it the hottest morning of the season, said a MeT department official.

The Palam observatory recorded a minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius, he said.

Humidity level was recorded at 55 per cent.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, he said.

The weatherman has predicted that the mercury will see a dip after April 4.
