The illegal casino-cum-bar, which was being run for the last two months from a 13-acre farmhouse, was busted and 30 people were arrested on Tuesday.

Those arrested included 14 gamblers and five women casino-cum-bar attendants.

An inquiry was ordered to ascertain whether the personnel attached to the Fatehpur Beri police station were aware of the illegal activities at the farmhouse.

Following the inquiry, five police personnel, including the station house officer of the Fatehpur Beri police station, were placed under suspension for "not being vigilant" of the activities going on within their jurisdiction, the police said.

The suspended police personnel are — inspector Govind Chauhan, the SHO, assistant sub-inspectors Brij Kishore and Rajender, head constable Ravinder and constable Puran, said Madhur Verma, Public Relations Officer, Delhi Police.

The accused told the police that the ground floor of the farmhouse was also rented out for shooting TV shows and films.

Popular TV shows such as Savdhaan India and Crime Patrol were shot there, said a senior police officer.
