The deceased has been identified as Krish Rajini.

The body of deceased student, Krish Rajini, 25, was found hanging in a room in Munirka Vihar.

While police said he was depressed over personal issues, his friends shared his Facebook post in which he had alleged discrimination in MPhil and PhD admissions.

Till now no evidence has been found that the extreme step was taken by the student owing to any issues at the university, said a senior police officer.

The M Phil student is said to have gone out to have food at his friend's house and locked his room from inside after returning from there on the pretext of sleeping.
