An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit several parts of Delhi and NCR on Thursday. The tremors were felt late in the evening.
As per the National Center for Seismology (NCS), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), the epicentre of the earthquake is Alwar in Rajasthan. The tremors were felt at around 11.46 pm.
The earthquake took place at a latitude of 28.06 N and longitude of 76.72 E at a depth of five km. The tremors were experienced by the residents in the region.
So far, no injuries, loss of lives or damage to property has been reported.
