Haryana government presents Budget for 2018-19: Key highlights
Here are the highlights of the Haryana Budget 2018-19
New Delhi: Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu presented the Haryana Budget 2018 in the state assembly.
The finance minister proposed a Budget of Rs 1,15,198 crore for Haryana while no new tax proposal was announced his budget speech.

Here are the highlights of the Haryana Budget 2018-19
- Revenue receipt raised to Rs 76,933 crore
- Budget outlay comprises 26.1 percent in capital expenditure of Rs 30,012 crore and 73.9 percent as revenue expenditure of Rs 85,187 crore
- Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran to be set up to make agri more remunerative
- Allocation of Rs 100 crore for SYL completion
- Total revenue receipt as ratio to GSDP is estimated at 11.52 percent in 2017-18 as compared to 9.63 percent in 2016-17
- Increase of 51.22 percent in outlay for agriculture and allied activities
- Rs 4097.46 crore for agriculture and allied activities
- Rs 1,838.49 crore for agriculture, Rs 913.43 crore for animal husbandry, Rs 834.91 crore for horticulture, Rs 427.17 crore for forests and Rs 83.46 crore for fisheries
- Outlay of Rs 3,222.21 crore proposed for irrigation and water resources, which is 20.01 percent increase over revised estimates of 2017-18
- 10.9 percent increase in outlay for education
- Allocation of Rs 4301.88 crore proposed for rural development and community development and panchayat
- Rs 4,769.61 crore allocated to health
- 51.22 percent increase for agriculture and allied activities from Rs 2,709.69 crore to Rs 4,097.46 crore
- An outlay of 657.94 crore proposed for skill development and industrial training department
- Allocation of Rs 15,372.16 crore for power department and Rs 112.85 cr for non-conventional energy department
