The revised results of the Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET), also known as Bihar TET 2017, has been declared by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). The results can be checked on official website bsebonline.net.

As many as 8349 aspirants, who had failed in the original results, have been declared passed in the revised results.


Reports quoted BSEB president Anand Kishore as saying that as per the revised results, an additional 1837 aspirants passed in Paper 1 (class 1 to 5) and 6512 passed in Paper 2 (class 6 to 8). In the previous results, 7038 aspirants had cleared Paper 1 while 30,113 aspirants had passed in Paper 2.


This takes the total number of aspirants who finally cleared the test to 8875 in Paper 1 and 36,645 in Paper 2. A total of 43,783 candidates had appeared for Paper 1 and more than 1,68,000 candidates had appeared in Paper 2.


The board also said that action would be taken against those responsible for wrong questions in the examinations. For the revised results, those questioned were omitted and papers were re-evaluated.
