Gujarat Board Class 10, 12 Exams 2017 begin, nearly 1.7 mn students to appear
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) Class 10 and Class 12 exam began on Wednesday.
New Delhi: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) Class 10 and Class 12 exam began on Wednesday.
This year, around 11,02,625 students have registered for the class 10 exam under the board while 5,14,965 student for class 12 (general stream) exams, according to a report.
The class 10 examination started with language paper i.e. English or Gujarati whereas class 12 examination began with Accounts and Physics papers for Commerce and Science stream respectively.
The candidates are strictly required to carry their admit cards inside the exam centre, failing to which, they would not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
A total of 1.7 million students have registered for the examination in both streams. All examination centres have been set up for the students who are planning to take exams in Class X and Class IX this year.
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) have placed more than 60,000 rooms with surveillance camera in schools across the state.
