Bhubaneswar, Sept 06: Many parts of Orissa have been experiencing incessant rains following a low pressure area formed in the south Orissa-north Andhra Pradesh coast yesterday, met office sources said here today. The low pressure area now lay in the north-west bay adjoining west-central bay off south Orissa and north Andhra Pradesh coast, the sources said. Under its influence, heavy rains in isolated places and moderate rains in many places of Orissa are likely to occur during the next 24 hours, the sources said. Gopalpur experienced highest rainfall of 80.5 mm while lowest rainfall of four mm was recorded in Keonjhar during the last 24 hours ended 0830 hours this morning, the sources said. Bureau Report
