Paris, Sept 15: Real Madrid playmaker Zinedine Zidane is hoping he does not score against his hometown team Olympique Marseille in the champions league tomorrow. ''I hope I won't have to score a goal but, of course, if I'm in a position to I will,'' Zidane, who was born in Marseille, told radio station RMC-Info yesterday.
However, the Frenchman added that he would have to forget his attachment to the French ligue 1 leaders when the teams meet in the Bernabeu Stadium for their first group F match. ''Once you're on the pitch, you forget about your feelings. I will play for Real and I will be a Marseille fan again after the game, the same as I've always been,'' Zidane said.

Real crushed Valladolid 7-2 to move up to second place in the Spanish first division on Saturday, while Marseille were equally impressive as they beat promoted Le Mans 5-0.

''We know it's not going to be the same kind of game as on Saturday (against Valladolid), as we saw that Marseille are a great team, in great shape,'' said Zidane.

''I've seen them play a couple of times and they were very good. We won't have any superiority complex,'' he added.
