New Delhi, Apr 06: Crossing two important milestones in the last fiscal, PSU oil giant ONGC registered a group turnover of over $10 billion, and a group market capitalisation of $28 billion. ONGC's turnover for financial year 2003-04 was Rs 33,350 crore, while the fully-owned subsidiary ONGC Videsh had a turnover of Rs 3175 crore. The group's refinery arm MRPL registered a turnover of Rs 12,488 crore.

In other significant achievements during the period, ONGC made six new discoveries of oil and gas. ONGC Videsh acquired exploration participating interest in Libya and Syria, while MRPL made a turn around. Bureau Report
