More often than not when Mark Waugh scores a century his team wins. This happened today also as the Australians won by 8 wickets. They outplayed India smartly in all departments of the game and choked them to a slow death. Mark Waugh`s century was the cornerstone of their innings as he remained unbeaten on 133 from 138 balls. Hayden hit yet another half century(57) and along with Waugh he set the tone scoring 143 runs opening stand. None of the Indian bowlers could not leave a mark on the slow and steady Aussies.
The Indians bowled listlessly and the fielding, least to say, was awful. Keeper Dahiya had a bad day behind the stumps as he missed two clean snicks. Teams
